How good are "freeware" data?
In Internet map applications, permanent costs are incurred for the licensing of the map data. Are the free data of the OpenStreetMap project an alternative?
In order to answer this question in a relatively easy manner, 123map has developed flosm. This tool allows the direct visual comparison between commercial Tele Atlas data and the data from the OpenStreetMap project.
